Aging – we can’t avoid this so we might as well embrace and enjoy it.
I genuinely believe that people (men and women) are obsessed with staying young! We don’t want to look our age so we do all kinds of things and spend crazy amounts of money stretching our skins to stay ‘forever young’. I can’t even imagine the kind of money celebs spend on plastic surgery….actually I don’t want to know.
I don’t know if I would change my mind if I had sooo much money because let’s be honest money changes us….but for now I just want to age like me. Like I am supposed to. So I do my best with what I have hoping and praying that in 10 years time I still feel 50!
My 3 TOP Beauty products for aging – gracefully.
Some of us have really good genetics and will never show their age, others will try incredibly hard to stop the process and then there are some that will wake up too late and go OMG how did this happen to me?
For me I have a bit of good genes because my Mom had great skin but….I am vigilant and esp now that I am the BIG 5.0. I try and use products that are specific for me! My 1st product of choice is the AA Cosmetics Anti Age primer. Whilst keeping my makeup in place it also has ingredients such as collagen and hyaluronic acid which keep my wrinkles in check! For me this primer is a lifesaver because I can wear it without using any makeup 🙂
And then my 2nd product of choice is the Skin Boost 15% Hyaluronic Acid. As we age, our skin loses the ability to preserve moisture, resulting in the visible loss of firmness, pliability, and plumpness. Hyaluronic acid swoops in with the ability to replenish moisture that is crucial to having younger-looking, supple skin.
At the same time, it revitalizes the skin’s outer layers so they look and feel softer, smoother, and hydrated which instantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This product comes in a serum as well as a day and a night cream.
And then my last beauty must have aging product is my Q10 anti wrinkle Cream also from AA Cosmetics. Containing Q10 it promotes the synthesis of collagen thus slowing down the aging process.
It smooths the skin and reduces the appearance of new fine wrinkles. This is one of the best skincare products that we have to combat aging – remember with anything related to skin it will take time. Nothing will work overnight. So we have to be patient and vigilant and consistent. And you are never too young to start looking after your skin we can definitely slow down the aging process but nothing will actually stop it from happening.
There are also other factors to consider if you want to stay young – such as exercise, eating healthy and laughter. For me my kids make me crazy but they make me laugh in a good way!
Another vital and important thing for all of us is to be sun wise – no matter what your age is if you go into the sun use protection. Use a hat/ cap. And tons of sun protection cream. We can’t undo any of the damage that has been done by the sun but we can certainly protect ourselves from anymore harm right?
